I love to procrastinate and these long runs are golden opportunities for procrastination. In the end I ran about 6 miles in 60 min. So a 10 min mile pace for 60 min. I actually felt like I could go faster and still keep it "easy." To me this means that my effeciency has improved. My phsyiche tells me that my body is starting to prefer fat for fuel but I still eat too many carbs too often. I am fully aware that the presence of insulin, even in the smallest amounts will cause the cells to prefer glucose over fats, but I'm an adict.
