Endurance

This morning I was inspired for some random reason to work out with the group a little bit.

There is a meeting being hosted in the gym this morning so I planned a little workout for the 6am then had to switch it up to do something outside for the 7, 8, and 9am classes.  Outside, we decided to do Lit-Cons.

It was pretty low key and just playful today, 8 reps of an "athletic lift" followed immediately with a short sprint (I used 50m +/-).  Cleans, Deadlifts, Snatch, OHS, etc.

I did about 6 rounds with everyone doing various lifts at 115# and 90#.

Then I finished up my Tabata Row for Day 3 of week 2.  It's starting to get "easy" at 1:34/500m pace and today it showed.  Here is how it looked:

I finally figured out how to take this picture too.  Outside.

Avg. 1:31.6/500m
1. 1:31.7 - 33spm
2. 1:31.7 - 33spm
3. 1:31.7 - 33spm
4. 1:31.7 - 33spm
5. 1:31.7 - 33spm
6. 1:33.4 - 30spm
7. 1:29.2 - 33spm

I usually try to go "all out" or "empty the tank" as I call it on the last round.  Not sure if that is part of the protocol, but I like to see a negative split on that one just for funzies.

I think it might be time to do 8 rounds vs. 7 rounds and keep the 1:34 pace tighter.

WOD:
5' on
2' off
4 Rounds
