Strength

I didn't workout on Sat like I wanted to but moved it to Sunday.  The problem with that is if I stick to the schedule I will put in 4 days straight take 1 off then another 2 days this week.  So we are looking at 6 days this week!  Probably not gonna happen based on my previous track record but I'm gonna give it an honest effort.

Tabata Row looked like this:

Avg. 1:32.8
The last round jacked me up because for some reason the monitor didn't pick up anything until 2 whole seconds had passed by.  May not sound like much but when I'm trying to hit an avg. of 1:34 in 20 sec. that first 2 pulls mean a lot.  It's the difference between winning the first game of the tournament vs losing it and having to battle back into the winners bracket.

This is the 9th tabata set of 30 total.

WOD:
Clean
Front Squat
Push Press
4x4 @90%

Cleans at 170#
Front Squat @ 170#*
Push Press @ 170#

I started out with Push Press and accidentally did 170 for 4 reps.  Clearly my new PR should be higher but I still haven't tested it to be sure.
Next up I hit cleans at ironically the same weight.  I check the books on that and found that the push press and the clean around the top end will be pretty close to 125% BW.  My goal BW is 180 which makes my goal Push Press and Clean 220#.  I have a ways to go still, but I remind myself that I'm still only 6 weeks into my training since recovering from my injury.
Front Squats were supposed to be done at 220, but by the time I got here, there was no way I could lift that much.  I pealed off the 10kg on each side and finished out the set.  The goal on Front Squat is 270# based on a BW of 180#.

Not too bad for where I am, not great for where I want to be.
