Power-Endurance

So today was slated to be a "power" day and I was planning on working some heavy snatches. When I started coaching today I had no idea I was going to end up doing the WOD too. I decided to do a little test run and see where I am compared to other people in my gym. The WOD was:

12x Power Clean at 70% 1RM - 135# for me
200m Sprint
3 Rounds for time

The first group to hit this avg about 5 - 7 min to completion with 70% 1RM all over the spectrum. Chad finished in 4:30, I finished 4:37. The final 200m I just didn't have the gas to catch him. I had started my "cheat" day meal with doughnuts, that might have something to do with it...Either way, pretty happy about my test run.

The programing is clearly doing what I want it to do. The challenge now is to keep at it.
