I was scheduled to do some polymetric stuff today, but I was really worn out from the shuttle sprints the other day. The group class was doing some handstands and horizontal pull ups so I decided to do it with them just to play around.

supine pull ups on rings (feel level with hands)
Score is total time in handstand.
I totaled 11:15 or something in handstands. It was interesting and fun to play around with. It seems like a lot of the "fun" and "play" has left the training in the last 2 years or so. I need to do something about that.
The gym record of the day was Frank who held a handstand for 12:30 +/-
It was exciting until we found out that 5 and 7 year old gymnasts do 15 min straight on a weekly basis! Or, sometimes for punishment, novice gymnasts, get sent to the wall for 5 min handstand holds at a time. My head deflated after that.
